Well, lately I have felt like I haven't really been getting to Woody or making any progress with him (that's what school does), and I have decided to change my tactics to see what works and what doesn't for him. He is SO hard to read sometimes. In his pasture or mostly online, he is LBI, but when he is at liberty in the round corral or outside playing, he gets really animated and forward (and focused on eating). So, yesterday night I went out to play with him, and I went really slow, treating him like a LBI. Well, that session ended with him taking off running to Charlotte at one point at liberty. So, I take it he didn't like that approach. Today I am going to try to be creative and kep things moving for him, treating him more like a LBE, and see how he responds to that. It will be intersting to see how focused he is and if he likes it or if he feels like to much preesure is being put on. Will post after our session later today to let you know how it goes.
