Red String, Red String

Yes, you guessed it, my red string came in the mail on Saturday evening!! I got the string and the certificate, and I was SO happy! My mom took pictures of me and Woody with it, here they are...

Also, Mom and I got new "traveling halters" for Wood and Char, Woody's is blue...
And, Charlotte's is pink, but I didn't get a picture of it. I will soon though.
Speaking of traveling, when Terrie came on Sunday she a) said Woody's feet look the best she has ever seen them b) brought two western saddles (one treeless and one lady Wade) for Charlotte to try to get a feel for what kind of saddle Mom wants and c) helped us load the horses in the trailer.
Mom liked the lady Wade the best, and here is a picture of Charlotte with it on...
It looked so adorable with that western getup on!
Then we loaded the horses in the trailer, which went surprisingly well. Mom walked on with Charlotte (didn't pull or lead her, just walked in on the open horse side of the trailer with her), and after I asked Woody 2 or 3 times, he walked all the way up, and I threw the rope over his back... they were like pros!! We closed them up, double checked everything, and hit the road. I have to give credit to my mom, for her first time driving the trailer with horses in it.. she did GREAT! We had a bit of a freak moment when we were going down the driveway and I looked back and the groom/side door on the trailer flew open. Mom slammed on the brake and ran out to fix it... good reflexes!! After that we did good. All three of us went down the driveway, down the road, to a turn around area in front of our church, and went back. then the horses unloaded like pros too. It was a good experience and we are going to try to do it again.
Lastly, my last day of school was Tuesday. It was a good ending, and have already heard that on one of my exams I go t a 98, the highest grade in the class (that was math, and the one I was most worried about!). That day, however, my brother rode his bike down the hill, had an accident, and ended up breaking his collar bone. Therefore, the next day, the day Mom, Terrie, Eve, me, and several others were going to drive to Tennessee to audit the Harry clinic, Mom and I had to stay home with Drew. He is doing better, and it is a mild break, but it still kinda stunk that we couldn't. However, I will get all the highlights from it and post them on here.
Until then, here are some sweet pictures of my mom with her horse.
